Dargah(Mazar) of legendry Sufi Saint Janab Mohammad Ghaus is situated in the east ans central part of the city ,now is hand over to ASI by the MP government.
helped Babur annex the Gwalior Fort. According to local folklore, he also granted the boon of a son to Tansen’s parents, and is therefore venerated as Tansen’s janma daata (the giver of life). According to another version, Mohammad Ghaus was an Afghan prince .

Whatever be the truth, his mazaar (tomb) suggests that he was a man held in great esteem. Designed in the typical Mughal style, the tomb is a grand structure that arrests one’s attention.
The path leading to it is flanked by a garden decorated with roses and other flowers. As you enter the premises, to your right is a dilapidated mosque that was built during Akbar’s reign. It is frequented even today, especially on Friday, when namaaz (prayer) is offered.

Built in the lmiddle 16th century, the tomb is square-shaped it contain 8 huge Minar(Tower) four in the corner and four in the middle and a huge “Gummad”(dome)in the center coverd by eight Minars ,. Right next to the tomb of Mohammad Ghaus is the mazaar (tomb) of the most famous legendry classical musician at the court(DARBAR) of Emperor Akbar. Regarded as one of the nine jewels of the court, Tansen was an exponent of the dhrupad style (Check our Music & Dance section for details). Legend has it that by the intense allure of his mellifluous voice - Tansen could make thunderclouds appear, followed by rain. His ragas (melodies) caused lamps to light up and held animals and birds spellbound.

Tansen Sangeet Samaroh -- The Musical Festival of Gwalior
The tomb – built in the 17th century is set in a beautiful garden, and is the venue for a music festival, the Tansen Sangeet Samaroh – held every years September or December. However, it is not nearly as impressive as the tomb of Mohammad Ghaus.
But this seems to have been Tansen’s intention: he did not want his tomb to surpass Mohammad Ghaus’ Tomb in grandeur or beauty.

The tamarind tree that you now see beside his grave has replaced an earlier one that grew near the grave, and was believed to possess magical properties. Whoever chewed upon its leaves acquired an exceptionally clear and honeyed voice.

प्रदेश के मुख्य मंत्री श्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने सभी जिला कलेक्टर्स को शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों पर खास ध्यान देने के निर्देश देते हुए कहा है कि सभी जिलों में जून माह के अन्त तक संविदा शाला शिक्षकों की भर्ती प्रक्रिया पूर्ण कर उनकी पदस्थापना हो जानी चाहिए, जिससे शिक्षा सत्र के आरंभ से ही विद्यालयों में सभी विषयों की पढ़ाई ठीक ढंग से हो सके । उन्होंने यह निर्देश आज समाधान ऑन लाइन कार्यक्रम के तहत व्ही.डी.ओ. कॉन्फ्रेंन्सिग के जरिए दिये । मुख्यमंत्री के समाधान ऑन लाइन कार्यक्रम में जिला मुख्यालय पर स्थित एन.आई.सी. के व्हीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंन्सिग केन्द्र के माध्यम से जिला कलेक्टर श्री अमित राठौर, जिला पंचायत के मुख्यकार्यपालन अधिकारी श्री सभाजीत यादव, एस.डी. एम. श्री सुरेश कुमार शर्मा तथा अन्य संबंधित अधिकारी शामिल हुये ।



मुख्य मंत्री श्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने स्कूलों में शाला त्यागी और नए बच्चों की भर्ती के लिए विशेष अभियान चलाने पर जोर देते हुए कहा कि हर गांव में पढ़ने योग्य सभी बच्चों को शालाओं में भर्ती कराया जाय । उन्होंने सर्व शिक्षा अभियान के तहत निर्माणाधीन भवनों को भी जल्द पूर्ण करने के निर्देश दिये, ताकि इन भवनों का उपयोग शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों में हो सके ।

मुख्य मंत्री ने ग्रामीण रोजगार गारण्टी योजना को पूरी गंभीरता के साथ लेने के निर्देश देते हुए संबंधित कलेक्टर्स से कहा कि इस कार्यक्रम के तहत पंजीकृत श्रमिकों को उनकी जरूरत के मुताविक और योजना के प्रावधानों के अनुसार पर्याप्त रोजगार मिलना चाहिए । अत: ग्रामीण अंचलों में पंजीबध्द श्रमिकों की आवश्यकता को ध्यान में रखकर रोजगार मूलक कार्य शुरू किए जाएँ । स्मरण रहे चंबंल संभाग के श्योपुर जिले में ग्रामीण रोजगार गारण्टी योजना संचालित है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने विभिन्न विभागों में खाली पड़े अनु. जाति और अनु. जनजाति वर्ग के रिक्त पदों की पूर्ति के लिए चलाये जा रहे विशेष भर्ती अभियान की प्रक्रिया के तहत बैकलॉक के पदों की भर्ती जून माह के अंत तक पूर्ण करने के निर्देश भी समाधान ऑनलाइन कार्यक्रम में दिये ।

प्रदेश के पिछड़ा वर्ग व अल्प संख्यक कल्याण तथा जैव विविधता व जैव प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री श्री रूस्तम सिंह 7 व 8 जून को जिले के प्रवास पर रहेगे और 8 जून को अपरान्ह 3.45 बजे मुरैना से पंजाब मेल द्वारा नई दिल्ली के लिए प्रस्थान करेंगे ।





मुख्य सूचना आयुक्त द्वारा जिला महिला एवं बाल विकास अधिकारी पर 18 हजार का जुर्माना

मुख्य सूचना आयुक्त श्री टी.एन. श्रीवास्तव ने मुरैना की जिला महिला एवं बाल विकास अधिकारी, एवं लोक सूचना अधिकारी पर 18 हजार रुपये का जुर्माना किया है। उन्हें यह दण्ड सूचना का अधिकार अधिनियम के तहत मांगी गयी जानकारी समय सीमा में उपलब्ध न कराने पर दिया गया है।

अपीर्लकत्ता श्री बलवंत सिंह हैहयवंशी ने जिला महिला एवं बाल विकास अधिकारी को 31 दिसम्बर 2005 को एक आवेदन देकर कतिपय बिन्दुओं पर जानकारी चाही थी। लोक सूचना अधिकारी ने इस आवेदन पत्र पर 8 जनवरी 2006 को आदेश पारित कर आवेदन को निरस्त कर दिया था। इस आदेश में अपीर्लकत्ता को जानकारी नहीं देने का कारण यह बताया गया कि उसे राज्य शासन ने निलंबित किया है और निलंबन करने के पूर्व प्रारंभिक जाँच की कार्रवाई प्रारंभ कर दी है। उनके आवेदन को अस्वीकार कर नस्तीबध्द कर दिया गया है।

इस आदेश के विरुध्द अपीर्लकत्ता ने प्रथम अपील कलेक्टर मुरैना के समक्ष प्रस्तुत की। कलेक्टर ने 8 फरवरी 2006 के आदेश द्वारा अपील स्वीकार कर यह उल्लेख किया कि अपीर्लकत्ता द्वारा प्रस्तुत ज्ञापन में दिए गए तथ्यों के अवलोकन से ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि उसने किसी गोपनीय अभिलेख की मांग नहीं की है। कलेक्टर ने लोक सूचना अधिकारी के 6 जनवरी 2006 के आदेश को निरस्त कर अपीर्लकत्ता से फीस जमा किए जाने पर अभिलेखों के नकल प्रदान करने का आदेश पारित किया। इस आदेश के बाद अपीर्लकत्ता ने लोक सूचना अधिकारी को आवेदन पत्र देकर प्रथम अपीलीय अधिकारी के आदेश का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि वह दस्तावेजों की प्रति प्राप्त करने के लिए अग्रिम रुप से पैसा जमा करने आये हैं लेकिन किसी जिम्मेदारी अधिकारी के न होने के कारण वे राशि जमा नहीं कर सके हैं। अपीर्लकत्ता ने लोक सूचना अधिकारी से यह जानकारी चाही कि उन्हें जानकारी प्राप्त करने के लिए कितनी राशि जमा करनी है। यह आवेदन महिला एवं बाल विकास अधिकारी के कार्यालय में 20 फरवरी 2006 को प्राप्त हुआ।

आवेदन के उत्तर में जिला महिला एवं बाल विकास अधिकारी ने 8 मार्च 2006 के पत्र से अपीर्लकत्ता को सूचित किया कि उनके द्वारा मांगी गयी छायाप्रतियां बहुत अधिक है और वर्तमान में कार्यालयीन कार्य, विधान सभा, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला मासिक जानकारी तथा राज्य स्तरीय बैठक की जानकारी भोपाल भेजी जानी है, अत: यह जानकारी देना संभव नहीं है। उन्हें बताया गया कि जब 14 मार्च 2006 को वह राशि जमा करने कार्यालय आएंगे, तब उन्हें बता दिया जाएगा कि कितनी राशि जमा करनी है। इसके अनुसार अपीर्लकत्ता ने 14 मार्च 2006 को कार्यालय में उपस्थित होकर 1200 रुपये की राशि जमा की। इसके बाद लोक सूचना अधिकारी ने एक पत्र अपीर्लकत्ता को भेजा कि जानकारी की छायाप्रतियां कराने में समय लगेगा और जानकारी 14 अप्रैल 2006 तक उपलब्ध करा दी जाएगी। यह जानकारी इस तिथि तक अपीर्लकत्ता को नहीं दी गयी। इतना ही नहीं, अपील की सुनवाई के दिन तक मांगी गयी सूचना अपीर्लकत्ता को नहीं दी गयी।

त्रस्त होकर अपीर्लकत्ता ने 24 अप्रैल 2006 को द्वितीय अपील राज्य सूचना आयोग में प्रस्तुत की। इसके अवलोकन से आयोग ने पाया कि इसमें कोई भी बिन्दु निर्णय के लिए नहीं है। वास्तव में प्रथम अपील अधिकारी द्वारा जो आदेश पारित किया गया था, उसी को क्रियान्वित कराना है। यह साफ हो गया कि लोकसूचना अधिकारी और जिला महिला एवं बाल विकास अधिकारी ने प्रथम अपील अधिकारी के आदेश की अवहेलना करते हुए उसके पालन में रुचि नहीं ली।

इस स्थिति को देखते हुए लोक सूचना अधिकारी को कारण बताओं नोटिस देकर उन्हें 25 मई 2006 तक अपना उत्तर प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश दिये गये। उन्हें यह भी कहा गया कि वह अपने पक्ष में कुछ कहना चाहती हो तो, वह स्वयं भी उपस्थित हो सकती है। लोक सूचना अधिकारी श्रीमती सजन अलूना ने 25 मई 2006 को उपस्थित होकर अपना उत्तर प्रस्तुत किया। आयोग उनके उत्तर से संतुष्ट नहीं हुआ। मुख्य सूचना आयुक्त ने अपने आदेश में कहा कि मैं संतुष्ट हूँ कि श्रीमती सजन अलूना ने जानबूझकर प्रथम अपील में कलेक्टर के आदेश होने के बाद भी जानबूझकर कार्यवाही नहीं की। उन्होंने श्रीमती अलूना के आचरण को दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण माना। अत: तीस दिन की समयावधि में जानकारी उपलब्ध न कराने तथा जानबूझकर लापरवाही करने पर उन पर 18 हजार रुपये की शास्ति अधिरोपित की जाती है। मुख्य सूचना आयुक्त ने निर्देश दिया कि इस आदेश के सात दिन के भीतर लोक सूचना अधिकारी अपीर्लकत्ता को वांछित जानकारी की प्रमाणित प्रति उपलब्ध कराकर पालन प्रतिवेदन आयोग को भेजे।

राज्य शासन ने जनसम्पर्क विभाग के 19 अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों के स्थानांतरण आदेश जारी किए हैं। तदनुसार उप संचालक डा. अशोक तिवारी को शहडोल से नरसिंहपुर, उपसंचालक श्री सुनील सिलावट को नरसिंहपुर से सतना, उप संचालक श्री जे.पी. धौलपुरिया को दतिया से बैतूल, उप संचालक श्री अर्जुन सिंह सौलंकी को मंदसौर से देवास स्थानान्तरित किया गया है।

इसी तरह सहायक संचालकों में श्री सुनील कमल मिश्र को सीधी से रीवा, श्री आर.एस. पाराशर को सतना से छिन्दवाड़ा, श्री डी.डी. शाक्यवार को देवास से मंदसौर और श्री गुरमीत सिंह वाधवा को गुना से जिला जनसंपर्क कार्यालय विदिशा भेजा गया है। सहायक जनसम्पर्क अधिकारियों में श्री शैलेन्द्र जार्ज को दमोह से कटनी, श्री राजेश कुमार बैन को कटनी से शहडोल, श्री जी.एस. ठाकुर को बैतूल से दमोह, श्री ओ.पी. दुबे को विदिशा से सागर, श्री दुर्गेश रायकवार को भोपाल से गुना और श्री घनश्याम सिरसाम को छिन्दवाड़ा से दतिया स्थान्तरित किया गया है।

सूचना सहायकों में श्री कैलाश प्रसाद दांगी का स्थानान्तरण जिला पंचायत दतिया से जिला जनसम्पर्क कार्यालय गुना, श्री बी.डी. अहिरवाल का स्थान्तरण सागर से विदिशा, श्री गजेन्द्र द्विवेदी का जिला पंचायत शहडोल से जिला जनसम्पर्क कार्यालय उमरिया, श्री विट्ठल माहेश्वरी का गुना से हरदा और कुमारी शैफाली तिवारी का जिला जनसंपर्क कार्यालय भोपाल से जिला पंचायत सागर किया गया है ।



राष्ट्रीय विधि संस्थान विश्वविद्यालय भोपाल को देश में तीसरा स्थान

राष्ट्रीय विधि संस्थान विश्वविद्यालय (नेशनल लॉ इन्सटीटयूट यूनिवर्सिटी) भोपाल को ओ आर जी मार्ग द्वारा हाल ही में किये गये सर्वे में देश के दस श्रेष्ठतम विधि संस्थानों में तीसरे स्थान पर रखा गया है। पिछले साल यह चौथे स्थान पर तथा उससे पहले दो वर्षो में यह शीर्ष दस संस्थानों में शामिल नहीं था ।

राष्ट्रीय विधि संस्थान विश्वविद्यालय के निदेशक प्रो.बलराज चौहान ने इस उपलब्धि में मध्यप्रदेश सरकार द्वारा दिये गये सहयोग के लिए मुख्य सचिव, श्री राकेश साहनी के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया है।

इस संबंध में श्री साहनी को भेजे गये पत्र में प्रो. चौहान ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार सहयोग,समर्थन और परामर्श के बिना संस्थान को यह प्रतिष्ठा मिनी संभव नहीं होती। उन्होंने कहा इस उपलब्धि में संस्था के विद्यार्थियों, शिक्षकों तथा प्रशासनिक अमले के कड़े परिश्रम की भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है।

प्रो. चौहान ने आश्वस्त किया है कि संस्थान भविष्य में भी विधि, न्याय तथा शिक्षा के प्रति पूर्ण समर्पण के साथ कार्य करते हुए और बेहतर उपलब्धियां अर्जित करेगा। उन्होंने भविष्य में भी राज्य सरकार से इसी तरह के सहयोग, समर्थन और मार्गदर्शन की अपेक्षा की।





पर्यावरण के संरक्षण के लिये जनजागरूकता आवश्यक

मुख्यमंत्री श्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने आज विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर एप्को द्वारा आयोजित समारोह में बताया कि राज्य सरकार नुकसानदायक पॉलीथिन के उपयोग को प्रतिबंधित करने के लिये कानून बनाने पर गंभीरता से विचार कर रही है। श्री चौहान ने कहा कि विशेषकर शहरों में कचरा घरों में बिखरी पॉलीथिन गाय एवं अन्य निर्दोष पशुओं की मौत का कारण बन रही है। निश्चित ही इसके लिये जनजागरूकता एवं आवश्यक कानून जरूरी है। मुख्यमंत्री ने पर्यावरण दिवस पर बिट्टन मार्केट दशहरा मैदान में आयोजित प्रदर्शनी देखी और एप्को द्वारा आयोजित चित्रकला एवं अन्य स्पर्धाओं के विजयी बच्चों को पुरस्कार प्रदान किये।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री चौहान ने कहा कि पर्यावरण की रक्षा सिर्फ सरकार का दायित्व नहीं बल्कि इस कार्य से जन-जन का जुड़ाव जरूरी है। मध्यप्रदेश में शीघ्र ही पौधे रोपने का विशेष अभियान शुरू किया जायेगा। लगभग छह करोड़ पौधे जनता के सहयोग से लगाये जायेंगे। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि भारतीय संस्कृति में पर्यावरण की चिंता समाहित है। क्षणिक स्वार्थ के लिये प्रकृति का शोषण अनुचित है। पेयजल संकट और बिगड़ता पर्यावरण मनुष्य द्वारा किये गये प्रकृति के असंतुलित दोहन का नतीजा है। श्री चौहान ने जलाभिषेक अभियान को गांव एवं शहरों में मिल रहे समर्थन को जागरूकता का परिचायक बताया।

आवास एवं पर्यावरण मंत्री श्री जयंत मलैया ने कहा कि पर्यावरण नियोजन एवं समन्वय संगठन (एप्को) पर्यावरण सुधार के लिये निरंतर कार्य करने वाली संस्था है। बड़े भवनों के निर्माण में वर्षा जल का उपयोग सुनिश्चित करने पर राज्य सरकार सम्पत्ति कर में 10 प्रतिशत की रियायत देगी। श्री मलैया ने बताया कि वर्षा जल संग्रहण को प्रोत्साहित करते हुए भविष्य में इसका उपयोग न करने वाले लोगों को दंडित करने में स्थानीय निकाय पीछे नहीं हटेंगे। एप्को के कार्यपालक संचालक श्री जे.एस. माथुर एवं प्रमुख सचिव निगरीय प्रशासन श्री पी.डी. मीणा ने भी कार्यक्रम को सम्बोधित किया। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने एप्को के पांचवें पर्यावरण प्रतिवेदन के साथ ही पर्यावरण टुडे एवं 'बारीश और हम' पुस्तकों का विमोचन किया। कार्यक्रम में बताया गया कि भोपाल के आस-पास की 18 झीलों के विकास के लिये परियोजनाओं पर शीघ्र अमल किया जायेगा। प्रारंभ में मुख्यमंत्री का स्वागत किया गया। उमंग स्कूल के मूक-बधिर बच्चों ने सरस्वती वंदना प्रस्तुत की।
